Salted Peanut Bars

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1 cup butter, cold

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 12 oz. butterscotch chips

  • 3 Tbsp. butter

  • 3 Tbsp. water

  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup

  • 3 cups Spanish salted peanuts

Instructions

Sift flour with salt.
Cream 1 cup butter with brown sugar.
Cut in flour and salt as for a pie crust.

Press into a 15 1/2 inch by 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan.

Heat the following until melted

  • 12 oz. butterscotch chips

  • 3 Tbsp. butter

  • 3 Tbsp. water

  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup

Add Spanish salted peanuts.

Spread over bottom layer in pan.

Bake 8 minutes in a preheated oven at 375°
